Optimization and prediction of battery electric vehicle driving range using adaptive fuzzy technique
Published 2022“…For benchmarking, the results were compared with different designs based on previous studies using New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule (UDDS), Japanese 10-15 Mode Driving Cycle (Japan 10-15), and Highway Fuel Economy Test Driving Cycle (HWFET). The results showed that the basic fuzzy EMS was able to improve the power consumption by 11.7% to 12.4%; the optimized fuzzy EMS had improved by 18.8% to 26.6%, and the predictive fuzzy EMS had improved by 16.9% to 29.1%. …”

The Bionomics of the Teak Skeletoniser, Paliga Damastesalis Walker (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) and its Defoliation Impact on Young Teak, Tectona Grandis Linnaeus
Published 2004“…The findings of the laboratory study on the preference of P. damastesalis for younger leaves were supported by a subsequent study on the within-tree distribution of the immature stages on 6 to 12 month-old teak planted along a highway. The larvae were strongly associated with the upper node leaves in the field, which are comparatively younger than the lower node leaves, suggesting that the larvae preferred and actively sought younger leaves to consume. …”

Geometrical effect on the behavior of embankment on soft ground
Published 2015“…Two full-scale case history embankments in Malaysia and Canada, the Muar trial embankment and Vernon highway embankment were verified. Three dimensional effects on Muar trial embankment were evaluated by comparing the results of two and three-dimensional analysis, in terms of predicted displacements, lateral movements, excess pore pressure, factor of safety, and failure height of the embankment fill. …”
