    “…Many metaphorically projected terms borrowed from foreign media or other sciences have been used by Iraqi editors working in Iraqi media after American invasion to Iraq in 2003 to describe the political matters and the status “these terms need to be studied to show what their meanings are because.Thus, the study tries to show how metaphors have been used in the Iraqi media discourse and how those terms have been metaphorically projected on Iraqi political and social matters so.The method used in this study is the survey method a number of metaphors that are spotted used by Iraqi media or semantically and Qualitatively analyzed by the researcher the researcher also uses controlled observation to collect data that concern metaphors borrowed from foreign media and from other sizes the metaphors used by Iraqi media have been employed to refer to different meanings before the borrowing the researcher also uses purpose of sample of Three major newspapers which have different trends “Asabah, Azaman,Tareeq Ashanti”.And also three TV channels “Al Iraqis Al sharqia, Dijla”.Within two times stages the first stage is after American invasion of Iraq 2003 the other stage is after the parliament elections of 2006 2010 2014 2018 20 21, 21 metaphors are spotted and 14 of them are selected per purposively.The researcher follows qualitative method and analyzing projected metaphors on the cases described by Iraqi media discourse.Thus, analyzing data in this way, represents, a continuous circular, process of a temporary explorational analysis which integrates with all the stages of this qualitative research. …”
