Pedagogical Reflections on Internalizing Geopolitical Representations in Print Media by Wisam Khalid Abdul-Jabbar

    Published 2015-06-01
“…By analogy, geopolitical texts are these id-instigated drives that the superego often suppresses and filters into dreams and fiction and yet they ominously somehow found their way out; they stealthily found expression and now they paint reality with their own biased colors. Can readers in the context be dream catchers? …”

Unambiguous and finitely ambiguous automata by Widdershoven, C

    Published 2022
“…We consider specifications given in terms of deterministic parity automata, NBAs, co-NBAs (where a tree is accepted iff all of its branches are rejected by a given NBA), co-UBAs (where all branches have to be rejected by a given UBA), and finally, LTL formulas. In general, this paints a picture where the question whether a branching process almost surely generates an accepted tree is easier than the question whether it almost never generates an accepted tree. …”

Single step co-extruded triple layer micro-tubular solid oxide fuel cell by Ab. Rahman, Mazlinda

    Published 2022
“…Along with that, comparative analysis between MT-SOFC fabricated via singe-step preparation of phase inversion-based co-extrusion/co-sintering technique; and multiple-step preparation of phase inversion-based co-extrusion of anode/electrolyte and cathode brush-painting technique, was examined. As a result, the novel technique of single-step preparation of phase inversion-based co-extrusion/co-sintering was found to be able to offer greater performance of 1.46 W cm-2 with 1.08 V OCV at 800 °C; as well as desired TLHF MT-SOFC quality of asymmetric anode (sharp-thin finger-like void and sponge-like void), thin and dense electrolyte, and porous cathode with strong adhesion bond between the layers, compared to the conventional multiple-step preparation technique (0.09 W cm-2, 0.57 V OCV). …”
