Electron screening in palladium
Published 2023-03-01“…The electron screening effect was studied in the 1H(7Li,α)4He, 1H(19F,αγ)16O and 2H(19F,p)20F nuclear reactions on two different hydrogen-containing palladium foils. In one of the targets we did not detect a large enhancement of the cross section due to electron screening, and in the second one we measured a high electron screening potential for all three reactions, up to an order of magnitude above the theoretical models. …”

Palladium/palladium oxide coated electrospun fibers for wearable sweat pH-sensors
Published 2019-06-01“…The sensors’ working electrodes are flexible poly(methyl methacrylate) electrospun fibers coated with a thin gold layer and electrochemically functionalized with nanostructured palladium/palladium oxide. The response to H+ ions is investigated by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy while open circuit potential measurements show a sensitivity of aprox. −59 mV per pH unit. …”

Formation and electronic properties of palladium hydrides and palladium-rhodium dihydride alloys under pressure
Published 2017-06-01“…But it can be formed under high pressure while the palladium is involved in the reaction. We also indicate a probably reason why PdH2 can not be synthesised in experiment due to PdH is most favourite to be formed in Pd and H2 environment from ambient to higher pressure. …”
