Cash Flow Performance of Fannie Mae Multifamily Real Estate: Evidence from Repeated NOI and EGI Indices by An, Xudong, Fisher, Jeffrey D., Geltner, David M.

    Published 2016
“…From a methodological perspective, we find that the conventional methods such as simple average and weighted average over-estimate multifamily NOI growth, likely due to significant sample selection bias and outlier influence. In contrast, the RMR indices control for changes in property quality and are much more robust in the presence of data errors and outliers.…”

Three essays on corporate finance by He, Zhongda

    Published 2014
“…CEO incentives and information asymmetry partly explain the diversification time effect, but this time effect still holds after taking into consideration R&D expenditure, number of segments, firm age, CEO and board characteristics, other unobserved firm characteristics and self-selection bias. Gunatenaga wanita di bandar dan luar bandar negeri Kedah: Satu analisis ekonometrik by Abdullah, Norehan, Lim, Hock Eam, Mohd Mohaideen, Zalina

    Published 2000

“…Study limitations Even though EB is a rare disease, for statistical purposes, the number of patients evaluated by this cohort can still be considered limited; other than that, there was a significant difference between the proportion of types of EB (only one case with JEB, against more than 50 with DEB), which unfortunately represents a selection bias. Also, for a small subset of families, segregation (usually through Sanger sequencing) was not an option, usually due to deceased or unknown parent status (mostly the father). …”
