    “…Trafficking in women and children is a global issue that widely discussed at present.It is considered as a violation of human rights and the activities of transnational crime because it involves many countries.This study aimed to determine and clarify the factors that contribute to human trafficking and prevention efforts.This study using a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches (mixed method).Questionnaires were distributed to respondents and independent interviews are used as a method to obtain information directly.The study sample was selected by purposive sampling method (purposive sampling).The findings show that poverty as the key driver of these human trafficking activities.This is because of lack of education and with easily trust with the person who promises the with a special offered such as will have a high salary form a good job and they force a victim with the debt that the victim or victims family and it is more significant in this case in Indonesia and more Indonesians to participate victims of trafficking in women and children than Malaysia.In Malaysia, domestic violence is significant compared to the occurrence of trafficking of Indonesian women and children. …”
