Intelligent database design for microgrids in low voltage distribution systems-I GUI and database design
Published 2014“…Unlike biomass, these renewable resources do not emit air pollutants since combustion is not required. Solar power has its own limitations, for instance, inconsistent input generating rate by reason of weather conditions or shading of cloud. With the increasing application of renewable resources in low voltage distribution systems, microgrid is being introduced. [49] Microgrid is located in areas close to customers so that power supplied is of desired frequency and voltage level. [13] In terms of generators capacity, conventional power plants are a lot larger than microgrid. …”

Student teachers learning to use Assessment for Learning in schools
Published 2016“…Key findings from the final analyses were as follows: there was considerable variation in how the geography specialist teacher mentors interpreted and used AfL; some mentors were strongly mediating the AfL/AoL expectations evident in the school inspection system in England; there was evidence of some strong and challenging mentoring, but it was not consistent across the experiences of the students; the students' own sense of the kind of teacher they wanted to become could be tracked in ways which revealed how they coped with the different school demands and what they saw as university expectations; the transition between placement schools was significant for the student teachers in ways that had not been anticipated by the design of the programme.…”
