On fundamental aspects of quantum extreme learning machines
Published 2025“…As a cautionary note on scalability, we identify four sources that can lead to the exponential concentration of the observables as the system size grows (randomness, hardware noise, entanglement, and global measurements) and show how this can turn QELMs into useless input-agnostic oracles. In particular, our result on the reservoir-induced concentration strongly indicates that quantum reservoirs drawn from a highly random ensemble make QELM models unscalable. …”

Can good ESG performance help companies resist external shocks?
Published 2024“…In order to validate the varied conclusions regarding the integration of corporate ESG practices by investors during external shocks, this study utilises the COVID-19 crisis as a specific external shock. The findings from our difference-in-differences methodology suggest that companies demonstrating strong ESG performance have succeeded in reducing idiosyncratic risk throughout the pandemic period. …”

Charge modulation spectroscopy of solution-processable field-effect transistors
Published 2017“…Moreover, using an ambipolar hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite as active material, we realized the first perovskite light-emitting FET. Our results lay down the path for developing mathematical device models as well as optimizing the molecular design of organic and hybrid organic-inorganic semiconductors for the development of high-performance, solution-processable FETs, as well as high brightness light-emitting devices like gated light-emitting diodes and electrical injection lasers.…”
