Synthesis and performance analysis of a polysulfone braid-supported hollow fiber membrane for natural gas purification
Published 2024“…Mechanical strength testing revealed that 21_3 PSF BRHF (68.2 MPa) fabricated in this study outperformed conventional self-supported PSF hollow fiber membranes (9.44 MPa), as reported in the literature. These findings underscore the potential of BRHF membranes for natural gas purification, although further improvements are still possible.…”

Development and characterization of collagen type I and hyaluronic acid (HA) based interlaced scaffolds for tissue engineered heart valves (TEHVS)
Published 2017“…While evaluated against the criterion for tissue engineered heart valve (TEHV), S-3 and S-4 among interlaced scaffolds/compositions not only matched mechanically but also showed high degradation resistance which potentially made them as '<b>close-fit</b>' candidates. Findings from this thesis indicated that collagen/HA interlaced scaffolds have the potential to fill in the niche for designing an ideal TEHV. …”

Essays on blood supply management
Published 2021“…The results show that more mature blood banks have more strategies available at their disposal when it comes to trying to maintain fill-rates. We also observe that the dynamic donation rate strategy results in lower fill-rates during disasters when the fill-rate is low despite being able to meet donation targets, and that multiple waves with short lead times exacerbate this effect. …”
