Design, synthesis, structural characterization, cytotoxicity and computational studies of Usnic acid derivative as potential anti-breast cancer agent against MCF7 and T47D cell lines
Published 2025“…In this study, the usnic acid derivative (UA1) was synthesized due to the effectiveness of usnic acid (UA) against BC cell line. Furthermore, the structure of synthesized compound was determined using FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HSQC, and HMBC spectroscopic techniques. …”

Automatic segmentation of the choroid in enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography images
Published 2013“…Bruch’s membrane is detected by searching the pixel with the biggest gradient value above the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and the choroidal-scleral interface is delineated by finding the shortest path of the graph formed by valley pixels using Dijkstra’s algorithm. …”

Does the peer review mode make a difference? An exploratory look at undergraduates' performances and preferences in a writing course
Published 2024“…Focus group discussions (FGDs) were administered to investigate students’ perceptions of the peer review modes, including their perceived usefulness of the feedback and the review processes. The findings show that the students’ writing performances significantly improved after the peer review session in all three peer review modes, with the anonymous CMPR and the blended mode showing stronger effectiveness as compared to the F2F mode. …”

A secret of high-rate mass transfer in anammox granular sludge : "lung-like breathing"
Published 2021“…The mass transfer flux from “lung-like breathing” was far greater than that from molecular diffusion, which was regarded as a vital mechanism for the AnGS to demonstrate its high activity. These findings provided theoretical basis and technical parameters for the optimization of anammox nitrogen removal process.…”

Improved mobility and photovoltaic performance of two-dimensional Ruddlesden−Popper (ThMA)₂(MA)₂M₃I₁₀ perovskites applied in perovskite solar cells
Published 2023“…Nevertheless, (ThMA)2(MA)2Cu3I10 was predicted to have the highest PCE of 22.97%, featuring itself as a potential photo–absorber candidate for photovoltaic applications. The findings reported herein not only achieve our goal in designing highly efficient and environmentally-friendly 2DRP perovskites, but also shed light on new strategies for advancing their applications in optoelectronic.…”

Quantum photonic sensors array with machine learning
Published 2021“…DQS-CV protocol can also be used to help improve machine learning which is called the supervised learning assisted by and entangled sensor network(SLAEN).SLAEN converge in less step compared to the conventional algorithm and can find better hyperplanes. It opens a new route to utilize the entanglement power in quantum sensing field.…”
