    Strong electron–phonon coupling in magic-angle twisted bilayer graphene by Chen, C, Nuckolls, KP, Ding, S, Miao, W, Wong, D, Oh, M, Lee, RL, He, S, Peng, C, Pei, D, Li, Y, Hao, C, Yan, H, Xiao, H, Gao, H, Li, Q, Zhang, S, Liu, J, He, L, Watanabe, K, Taniguchi, T, Jozwiak, C, Bostwick, A, Rotenberg, E, Chen, Y

    Published 2024
“…Calculations suggest that the formation of these flat-band replicas in superconducting MATBG are attributed to the strong coupling between flat-band electrons and an optical phonon mode at the graphene K point, facilitated by intervalley scattering. These findings, although they do not necessarily put electron–phonon coupling as the main driving force for the superconductivity in MATBG, unravel the electronic structure inherent in superconducting MATBG, thereby providing crucial information for understanding the unusual electronic landscape from which its superconductivity is derived.…”

New challenges in oxygen reduction catalysis: a consortium retrospective to inform future research by Stevens, Michaela Burke, Anand, Megha, Kreider, Melissa E., Price, Eliza K., Zeledón, José Zamara, Wang, Liang, Peng, Jiayu, Li, Hao, Gregoire, John M., Hummelshøj, Jens, Jaramillo, Thomas F., Jia, Hongfei, Nørskov, Jens K., Roman-Leshkov, Yuriy, Shao-Horn, Yang, Storey, Brian D., Suram, Santosh K., Torrisi, Steven B., Montoya, Joseph H.

    Published 2024
“…However, we also hope to illustrate both the potential impact of a collaborative strategy with the hopes of inspiring a higher degree of Industry-Academia-National Laboratory collaboration and encourage other centers and consortiums to distill and share their findings in a similar perspective-type article. Together we hope to enable the fuel cell research community to engage in a discussion of strategies for research and accelerated development of catalysts with improved activity and stability.…”

Correlates of lifestyle patterns among children in Singapore aged 10 years: the growing up in Singapore towards healthy outcomes (GUSTO) study by Tan, Sarah Yi Xuan, Chia, Airu, Tai, Bee Choo, Toh, Jia Ying, Colega, Marjorelee, Padmapriya, Natarajan, Setoh, Peipei, Kee, Michelle Zhi Ling, Yuan, Wen Lun, Lee, Yung Seng, Loo, Benny Kai Guo, Yap, Fabian Kok Peng, Tan, Kok Hian, Godfrey, Keith M., Chong, Yap Seng, Eriksson, Johan, Müller-Riemenschneider, Falk, Chong, Mary Foong-Fong

    Published 2024
“…Having siblings, pet ownership, mother’s physical activity, parenting style, parental bonding, child’s outdoor time, and breakfast consumption were not associated with children’s lifestyle patterns. Conclusions: These findings provide direction for future interventions by identifying vulnerable groups and contexts that should be prioritised.…”

Learning from nature : experimental observation of mimosa pudica by Zhang, Yi

    Published 2021
“…Remarkably, the partial pinna stimulation demonstrated a twofold increase in closing time in comparison to entire pinna stimulation, which implied the stimulation contact area did play a significant part in pinna closing time but had no effect on pinna reopening time. …”
