Boosting hydrogen evolution reaction via electronic coupling of cerium phosphate with molybdenum phosphide nanobelts
Published 2022“…In this work, it is found that by anchoring a rare earth compound, cerium phosphate (CePO4 ) on MoP (CePO4 /MoP), the stabilized Ce3+ in CePO4 can significantly boost the formation of oxygen vacancies in ceria (CeO2 ) in situ formed on CePO4 surface during HER, which effectively regulates the d-band electronic density-of-states of MoP, increases the numbers of active sites, and promotes the vectorial electron transfer, therefore greatly enhancing the HER performance of MoP. …”

Induction of apoptosis and the signalling pathways involved by dillenia suffruticosa dichloromethane root extract in mcf-7 and mda-mb-231 breast cancer cells
Published 2015“…The induction of apoptosis in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells by DCM-DS is possibly due to the activation of pro-apoptotic JNK1 and down-regulation of anti-apoptotic ERK1 and AKT1, which in turn down-regulates anti-apoptotic BCL-2 to increase the BAX/BCL-2 ratio to initiate the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway. …”

Conditional knock out of N-WASP in keratinocytes causes skin barrier defects and atopic dermatitis-like inflammation
Published 2018“…Neural-Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome Protein (N-WASP) is expressed ubiquitously and regulates actin cytoskeleton remodeling. In order to characterize the role of N-WASP in epidermal homeostasis and cutaneous biology, we generated conditional N-WASP knockout mouse using CK14-cre (cytokeratin 14) to ablate expression of N-WASP in keratinocytes. …”
