Credit card cue effect : how mere exposure to credit card cues promotes consumers’ perceived financial well-being and spending
Published 2021“…Findings: After being shown credit-card cues, spendthrift participants had more spending-related thoughts and less debt-related thoughts, perceived of themselves as having better financial well-being, and consequently spent more than tightwad participants. Originality/value: To the authors’ knowledge, this is the first study to investigate the direct link between an exposure to credit-card cues and perceived financial well-being, and one of the few to show evidence of the moderating effect of consumers’ sensitivity to the pain of payment on spending when credit-card cues are present. …”

Chromium removal from aqueous solution using natural clinoptilolite
Published 2023“…To sustain its cost-effectiveness for wastewater treatment, the spent adsorbent is regenerated with NaOH. It was found that the clinoptilolite treated with NaCl has a two-times higher Cr adsorption capacity (4.5 mg/g) than the as-received clinoptilolite (2.2 mg/g). …”

Environmental risk factors for self-harm during imprisonment: A pilot prospective cohort study
Published 2025“…Single cell placement (OR 4.31, 95% CI 1.06–18.24, p = 0.041) and more frequent changes of cellmate (OR 1.52, CI 1.14–2.17, p = 0.009) and cell (OR 1.83, 95% CI 1.28–2.86, p = 0.003) were associated with an increased risk of self-harming behaviour. Time spent in areas with a higher number of prisoners per member of prison staff was significantly associated with reduced self-harm behaviour in adjusted models (OR 0.89, CI 0.78–0.99, p = 0.039). …”
