Performance of a novel LED lamp arrangement to reduce SNR fluctuation for multi-user visible light communication systems
Published 2013“…After time domain zero-forcing (ZF) equalization, the BER performances and channel capacities of 100-Mbit/s and 200-Mbit/s bipolar on-off-keying (OOK) signal with most significant inter-symbol interference (ISI) are very close to that of the channel without any ISI caused by this LED lamp arrangement.…”

Climate projections for Himalaya–Tibetan Highland
Published 2024“…The fidelity of 47 CMIP6 climate models in simulating the monsoon (June to August) over Himalaya–Tibetan Highland (HTH) is examined for the historical period (1975-2014) and 8 best performing models have been identified. It is found that the multi-model mean of 47 CMIP6 models (MMM) still exhibits systematic cold and wet biases for Tas and precipitation, respectively during the historical period. …”

Fatigue behaviors of square-to-square hollow section T-joint with corner crack I : experimental studies
Published 2014“…Furthermore, branches and secondary cracks, which seldom appear in circular hollow section (CHS) joints, were formed near the end of the test. The test results also indicated that a more stringent criterion should be used to define the fatigue life the joint. …”

Self-Assembly of Semiconducting Polymer Amphiphiles for In Vivo Photoacoustic Imaging
Published 2017“…Despite the advantages of semiconducting polymer nanoparticles (SPNs) over other inorganic nanoparticles for photoacoustic (PA) imaging, their synthetic method is generally limited to nanoprecipitation, which is likely to cause the issue of nanoparticle dissociation. The synthesis of near-infrared (NIR) absorbing semiconducting polymer amphiphiles (SPAs) that can spontaneously self-assemble into homogeneous nanoparticles for in vivo PA imaging is reported. …”
