The coexistence of enriched functional microorganisms such as nitrifiers (Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira) and denitrifiers (Dechloromonas, Zoogloea, Acidovorax) were believed to be responsible for the efficient performance of the system working under best operating conditions.…”
