Methods of growth and transfer of carbon nanotubes onto substrates for advanced electrical and electronic applications
Published 2023“…Subsequently, the influence of various growth parameters such substrate oxide thickness, amount of water vapor and etching time on efficiency of delamination was evaluated and optimized to yield wafer-scale free-standing VACNT, without requiring any form of mechanical handling. A significant key finding of the delamination study is that the SiO2 surface plays a crucial role for large scale self-delamination of VACNT. …”

Towards electrically injected colloidal semiconductor lasers
Published 2025“…Addressing this gap, I explored electrical charge injection into Br--capped CdSe NPLs using an inverted p-i-n device architecture, resulting in narrow electroluminescence at 530 nm. The findings emphasize the significance of an appropriate device architecture for balanced charge injection, crucial for radiative recombination in the NPL gain medium—a key factor in achieving electrically injected NPL lasers. …”

Published 2015“…In addition, an elevated post vaccination humoral immune response of a highly specific IgG and neutralizing antibodies was as shown in the in vitro inhibition of HEV71 live virus infectivity to Vero cell at the highest sample dilutions. Finally, the study finding is a key indicator for the role of nano-size adjuvant and carriers in augmenting the postvaccination immunity. …”

Structured sparse representations for supervised and unsupervised learning
Published 2020“…For example, object detection requires filtering semantic objects from noisy and varying backgrounds, and the ImageNet challenge requires to build a classification model on top of over one million images. Finding good representations of data can not only improve the performance of ML systems, but also indicate proper choices of algorithms for different problems. …”

Global, regional, and national mortality among young people aged 10–24 years, 1950–2019: a systematic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019
Published 2022“…We assess the association between SDI and all-cause mortality in 2019, and analyse the ratio of observed to expected mortality by SDI using the most recent available data release (2017). Findings: In 2019 there were 1·49 million deaths (95% uncertainty interval 1·39–1·59) worldwide in people aged 10–24 years, of which 61% occurred in males. 32·7% of all adolescent deaths were due to transport injuries, unintentional injuries, or interpersonal violence and conflict; 32·1% were due to communicable, nutritional, or maternal causes; 27·0% were due to non-communicable diseases; and 8·2% were due to self-harm. …”
