Functional analysis of germline RAD51C missense variants highlight the role of RAD51C in replication fork protection
Published 2023“…Investigations using patient-derived lymphoblastoid cell line carrying heterozygous RAD51C L134S variant showed an impairment in RAD51 chromatin association and replication fork protection, suggestive of deleteriousness of this VUS variant. Overall, our findings provide more insights into molecular roles of RAD51C in replication fork integrity maintenance and in DSB repair.…”

Use of functional magnetic resonance imaging to identify cortical loci for lower limb movements and their efficacy for individuals after stroke
Published 2024“…Conclusions The cortical loci associated with lower limb movements in the PCL identified in healthy participants were validated using independent groups of healthy participants and individuals after stroke. Our findings suggest that these cortical loci may be beneficial for the neurorehabilitation of lower limb movement in individuals after stroke, such as in developing effective rehabilitation interventions guided by the LI scores obtained for neuronal activations calculated from the identified cortical loci across the paretic and non-paretic sides of the brain.…”

Exploring and Exploiting Ribonuclease 1: from Protein Biochemistry to Protein Engineering
Published 2024“…Sulfur–arene interactions appear to tune the reactivity of methionine residues in a manner consistent with rates of oxidation. These findings highlight an underappreciated role for methionine—to protect catalytic histidine residues—and indicate a means by which ptRNases remain functional in oxidatively challenging physiological environments. …”

Metal-organic architectures driven by a multifunctional 6-aminouracil spacer : structures, noncovalent interactions, and conductivity
Published 2021“…The computational study for molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) surface energies revealed an important finding, namely a decrease of the π-acidity of the uracil ring upon coordination and a consequent increase of the π-basicity of the phenyl-sulfonate ring, resulting in effective anti-parallel π–π stacking interactions in 1 and 2. …”

Preliminary environmental risk consideration for small UAV ground risk mapping
Published 2022“…The regions with high rainfall, increased bird population per site and strong signal interference can be extracted. These high-risk locations can be expected to be more hazardous for sUAVs to fly in. Findings for environmental risk-tiering and risk-mapping are preliminary and based on the available environmental data as identified in this study. …”

New multi-target based therapeutics against an opportunistic superbug
Published 2013“…Additionally, expansion of the phytochemical-antibiotic interaction profiles were also carried out with various classes of antibiotics and phytochemicals to understand the interaction patterns by establishing a novel interaction network that provides a baseline to identify the mechanism of action of the phytochemicals and molecular mechanism of synergy. The above findings have potential implications in delaying the development of resistance as the antibacterial effect is achieved with lower concentrations of both drugs (antibiotics and phytochemicals). …”

Occurrence, human exposure and dynamics of phthalates in ACMV indoor environments : method development and field studies
Published 2015“…The increases are because of either resuspension of phthalates bound to settled dust or partitioning of gas-phase phthalates to the airborne particles. The findings also demonstrate that the gas fractions of the low-volatile phthalates decrease when the airborne particle concentrations increase.…”
