Determining targets for antiretroviral drug concentrations: a causal framework illustrated with pediatric efavirenz data from the CHAPAS-3 trial
Published 2024“…
Background: Determining a therapeutic window for maintaining antiretroviral drug concentrations within an appropriate range is required for identifying effective dosing regimens. The limits of this window are typically calculated using predictive models. …”

Estimating evolutionary and demographic parameters via ARG-derived IBD
Published 2025“…Inference of evolutionary and demographic parameters from a sample of genome sequences often proceeds by first inferring identical-by-descent (IBD) genome segments. By exploiting efficient data encoding based on the ancestral recombination graph (ARG), we obtain three major advantages over current approaches: (i) no need to impose a length threshold on IBD segments, (ii) IBD can be defined without the hard-to-verify requirement of no recombination, and (iii) computation time can be reduced with little loss of statistical efficiency using only the IBD segments from a set of sequence pairs that scales linearly with sample size. …”

Characterization of artemisinin resistance in plasmodium falciparum
Published 2017“…In order to better understand the Artemisinin resistance phenotype, we developed Artemisinin-resistant parasite lines derived from two isogenic clones (6A and 11C) of the 3D7 strain of Plasmodium falciparum using a selection regimen that mimics how parasites interact with the drug in infected patients. …”

Using Sequenom to identify KRAS mutations in an Asian cohort of ovarian mucinous cancer
Published 2014“…While there are distinct differences between mucinous epithelial ovarian cancer (mEOC) and the other subtypes of EOC, a standard treatment regimen is followed for all EOC histotypes. KRAS mutations have been observed to occur in relatively high frequencies of 50-60% in mEOC but not in other subtypes of EOC in at least three clinical studies. …”
