从“花园城市”到“花园中的城市” : 新加坡环境政策的理念与实践及其对中国的启示 = From “Garden city” to “A city in a garden” : the ideals and practices of Singapore’s environmental greenery policy and its implications f...
Published 2015“…本文主要梳理新加坡从“花园城市”到“花园中的城市”环境绿化发展历程,探讨政府在此过程中的理念和政策执行机制,并以“滨海南”综合功能发展区为例,分析新加坡的理念与政策配套如何实施,建立城市治理的新模式,从而打造世界级“花园中的城市”,最后得出对中国相关城市的借鉴。This article has five sections. First, it introduces the policy evolution from “Garden City” to “City in A Garden”; secondly, we discuss the government’s conceptualization of the policy; thirdly, it explores various mechanisms that are used by the government to implement the “Garden City” and “City in A Garden” policies; fourthly, we use “Marina South” mixed-use residential district as an example to demonstrate how the policy is put into implementation. …”

A highly strained Al-Al σ-bond in dianionic aluminum analog of oxirane for molecule activation
Published 2022“…The structure of 2 has been unambiguously ascertained by spectroscopic analysis as well as X-ray crystallography, and computational studies revealed that 2 bears a highly strained Al-Al σ-bond. 2 readily reacts with the unsaturated substrates such as isocyanide, ethylene, and ketone, concomitant with the cleavage of the Al-Al σ-bond under mild conditions, leading to the four- and five-membered heterocycles 3-5. Furthermore, the reaction of 2 with two molecules of benzonitrile (PhCN) furnishes a seven-membered heterocycle 6, resulting from the C-C coupling reaction of PhCN. …”

Exploring barriers and enablers of self-management behaviours in patients with diabetic foot ulcers: A qualitative study from the perceptions of patients, caregivers, and healthcar...
Published 2023“…Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a serious threat to global health and diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) remains one of the most common complications of DM1 affecting around 20 million people annually.2 DFUs are complex to treat, take months or years to heal, and the recurrence rates remain high up to 40% within 1 year of healing.3 People with DFUs are at risk of prolonged healing times and hospitalisation, reduced quality of life4, 5 and higher five-year mortality rates.3 Moreover, DFU is a causal factor for up to 85% of patients with diabetes who subsequently undergo lower extremity amputation3, 6 and is a leading cause of global disability.2 Singapore has the highest rate of diabetic lower extremity amputation (DLEA) in the world7 because of DFU and the trend is increasing.8 Additionally, DFU is a substantial clinical and economic burden to health systems in Singapore with escalating healthcare costs corresponding to more proximal amputation levels and high re-admission rates.9 Thus, understanding barriers to managing DFU is vital for improving patient care.…”
