Great enhancement effect of 20-40 nm Ag NPs on solar-blind UV response of the mixed-phase MgZnO detector by Han, Shun, Xia, Hao, Lu, Youming, Hu, Sirong, Zhang, Dao Hua, Xu, Wangying, Fang, Ming, Liu, Wenjun, Cao, Peijiang, Zhu, Deliang

    Published 2022
“…When high density 20-40 nm Ag NPs is induced, the deep UV (235 nm) response of the mixed-phase MgZnO detector is increased by 226 times, the I uv/I dark ratio of the modified device is increased by 17.5 times. The slight enhancement in UV light intensity from 20 to 40 nm Ag NPs induces multiple tunnel breakdown phenomena within the mixed-phase MgZnO thin film, which is the main reason for the abnormal great enhancement effect on deep UV response of the device, so the recovery speed of the modified device is not influenced. …”

Improving the charge separation and collection at the buffer/absorber interface by double-layered Mn-substituted CZTS by Lie, Stener, Sandi, Mario Indra, Tay, Ying Fan, Li, Wenjie, Tan, Joel Ming Rui, Bishop, Douglas M., Gunawan, Oki, Wong, Lydia Helena

    Published 2020
“…With this structure, we obtained our best performance cell with power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.73% and Jsc of 17.86 mA/cm2. The improved Jsc is attributed to increased depletion width and higher activation energy of the limiting recombination mechanism as shown by capacitance-voltage and temperature dependent current-voltage measurements. …”

Robust microhoneycomb-like nanofibrous aerogels derived from cellulose and lignin as highly efficient, low-resistant and anti-clogging air filters by Ma, Daphne Xiu Yun, Zeng, Zhihui, Wang, Zhe, Xu, Lulu, Zhang, Youfang, Ang, Jia Ming, Wan, Man Pun, Ng, Bing Feng, Lu, Xuehong

    Published 2022
“…In particular, a high filtration efficiency of 99.86% with a fairly low pressure drop (ΔP) of 59.5 Pa could be achieved for 0.1 μm particles at the face velocity of ∼5 cm s−1, for which the corresponding quality factor (QF) is significantly higher than that of reported aerogel air filters fabricated using predominantly natural materials. …”
