Densification behaviour and sintering mechanisms of Cu- or Co-doped SnO2 : a comparative study
Published 2014“….% Cu- or Co-doped SnO2 ceramics could reach over 95% relative density when sintered to 1250 °C with a heating rate of 5 °C min−1. It was found that both CoO4/3- and CuO-doped SnO2 follow the same mass transport mechanism – viscous flow sintering during early-stage sintering. …”

Electrophoretic deposition of reduced graphene oxide thin films for reduction of cross-sectional heat diffusion in glass windows
Published 2020“…The 20-cycles rGO thin films showed 30% more NIR blocked at 1000 nm as compared to clean FTO, as well as the least temperature increment of 0.57 °C following 30 min of solar irradiation. Furthermore, the visible transmittance of the as-fabricated rGO films remain on par with commercial solar films, enabling up to 60% of visible light transmittance for optimal balance of transparency and heat reduction. …”

Multiplexed model predictive control
Published 2009“…This reduction in computational complexity allows Multiplexed MPC to be executed at higher sampling rate, which in turn reacts faster to disturbances and thus can lead to improved performance in some cases, despite finding sub-optimal solutions to the original problem. …”

Multiscale approach to nematic liquid crystals via statistical field theory
Published 2018“…In particular, for the case of a fully occupied lattice, we compute the values of the isotropic-nematic transition temperature and the order parameter discontinuity predicted by (i) a continuum approximation of the nearest-neighbor Lebwohl-Lasher model and (ii) a Lebwohl-Lasher-type model with a nematogenic interaction of finite range. We find that the predictions of (i) are in reasonably good agreement with known results of Monte Carlo simulation.…”
