Quantitative proteomics reveals CLR interactome in primary human cells
Published 2024“…The G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) calcitonin receptor-like receptor (CLR) mediates essential functions in several cell types and is implicated in cardiovascular pathologies, skin diseases, migraine and cancer. To date, the network of proteins interacting with CLR ("CLR interactome") in primary cells, where this GPCR is expressed at endogenous (physiologically relevant) levels, remains unknown. …”

3D printing of mycelium engineered living materials using a waste-based ink and non-sterile conditions.
Published 2023“…Mycelium is the vegetative parts of the fungi which forms an interconnected network, covering air-material interfaces with a dense skin. An agar gel was chosen as the printing medium and supplemented with coffee grounds, malt and peptone to double the growth rate and density of the mycelium by Pleurotus ostreatus. …”

Al2O3-Cu hybrid nanofluid flow and heat transfer characteristics in the duct with various triangular rib configurations
Published 2024“…Key findings include: (1) the 60° rib configuration produced the highest local heat transfer coefficient, with the maximum occurring at the rib centers. (2) Increasing nanofluid concentration and Reynolds number enhanced heat transfer but reduced skin friction. (3) The optimal performance was achieved with 2 vol.% Al2O3–Cu at Re = 60,000. (4) Velocity contours revealed larger recirculation zones for 60° ribs compared to 45° and 90° configurations. (5) Turbulent kinetic energy was highest for 60° ribs, contributing to enhanced thermal performance. …”

Mechanics of fracture and flexure in Antarctic ice sheets and ice shelves
Published 2024“…In grounding zones and floating ice shelves, ice fracturing is often associated with flexure modulated by ocean tides and subglacial water flow, as well as stresses created by shearing, such as pinning points. Fracture and flexure significantly affect the vulnerability of Antarctic ice shelves to hydrofracturing and, by altering buttressing effects, the mass balance of the entire Antarctic Ice Sheet. …”
