Initial public offering : voluntary disclosure and its effect on United States IPOs.
Published 2011“…There is no conclusive evidence to show any significant relationship between the voluntary disclosure of the use of proceeds and accounting performance except that firms that specify higher R&D expenditure in dollar details have better Return on Assets (ROA). We also find that firms that disclose higher dollar details in debt repayment will result in better post-IPO long run stock performance. …”

Investigation of nonlinear ultrasonic guided waves in open waveguides based on perfectly matched layers
Published 2018“…Two examples, an aluminum plate attached to an elastomer and an aluminum plate with water loaded on one side, are studied to demonstrate the proposed methods and reveal some interesting phenomena that only exist in open waveguides. It is interesting to find out that the amplitude of the attenuated second harmonic wave in immersed waveguides can keep constant with propagation distance, only if the primary wave is non-leaky, which may bring potential non-destructive test applications for underwater inspections. …”

Arbitrarily strong utility-privacy tradeoff in multi-agent systems
Published 2021“…We also provide a method to find the maximum estimation privacy achievable without compromising the utility and propose an alternating algorithm to optimize the utility-privacy tradeoff in the case where arbitrarily strong utility-privacy tradeoff is not achievable.…”
