Bifunctional layer-by-layer metal-organic framework thin films for gas detection
Published 2023“…Hence, this project aims to bridge this gap by fabricating a flexible gas sensor based on Cu-HHTP MOF thin films. Among the different thin film fabrication techniques, layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly was chosen due to its ability to produce high-quality thin films, as in the LbL approach allows precise control over film thickness and composition. …”

Numerical simulations of laser-driven experiments of ion acceleration in stochastic magnetic fields
Published 2024“…We validate the FLASH MHD code with experimental results and use OSIRIS particle-in-cell (PIC) code to verify the initial formation of the interaction region, showing good agreement between codes and experimental results. We find that the plasma conditions in the experiment are conducive to the lower-hybrid drift instability, yielding an increase in energy ∆E of ∼ 264 keV for 242 MeV calcium ions.…”

Fine-scale genetic structure and natural selection signatures of southwestern Hans inferred from patterns of genome-wide allele, haplotype, and haplogroup lineages
Published 2021“…The evolutionary and admixture history of Han Chinese have been widely discussed via traditional autosomal and uniparental genetic markers [e.g., short tandem repeats, low-density single nucleotide polymorphisms). However, their fine-scale genetic landscapes (admixture scenarios and natural selection signatures) based on the high-density allele/haplotype sharing patterns have not been deeply characterized. …”
