Centrioles generate two scaffolds with distinct biophysical properties to build mitotic centrosomes
Published 2025“…Here, we show that Drosophila Spd-2 (human CEP192) fluxes out from centrioles, recruiting Polo and Aurora A kinases to catalyze the assembly of two distinct mitotic-PCM scaffolds: a Polo-dependent Cnn scaffold, and an Aurora A–dependent TACC scaffold, which exhibit solid- and liquid-like behaviors, respectively. Both scaffolds can independently recruit PCM proteins, but both are required for proper centrosome assembly, with the Cnn scaffold providing mechanical strength, and the TACC scaffold concentrating centriole and centrosome proteins. …”

Comparative analysis of dehydration techniques on phytochemical and antibacterial properties on pink and purple flowers impatiens walleriana
Published 2025“…Notably, the pink flower variety exhibited higher flavonoid content (0.528-0.541 mg QE/100g) than the purple variety, likely due to petal color variation. Microwave-dried leaf extracts were evaluated for antibacterial activity using the disc diffusion method. …”
