Room-temperature visible electroluminescence from aluminum nitride thin film embedded with aluminum nanocrystals
Published 2010“…The EL shows a broad spectrum peaked at 565 nm (2.19 eV) when a negative gate voltage is applied. A linear relationship between the EL and the current transport in the nc-Al/AlN thin film system is observed, and both the current transport and the EL intensity exhibit a power-law dependence on the gate voltage. …”

Erasure temperature measurements of heat assisted magnetic recording media
Published 2015“…Magnetic force microscopy (MFM) and magnetic Kerr microscopy observations of the scanning laser induced degradation/erasure/demagnetization of the pre-recorded magnetic patterns on disk media (over a wide area of a few hundreds of μm2) show that the magnetic (MFM and Kerr signal) amplitude of the pre-recorded magnetic patterns decreases slowly with increasing laser power (Pw) (/temperature rise) for Pw ≲ 66 mW and then drops sharply to nearly zero for Pw ≥ ∼72 mW (the laser power corresponding to complete thermal erasure when the media temperature is ∼Te). It was further found that this trend of magnetic amplitude reduction with increased Pw is similar to that from magnetic amplitude decrease of pre-recorded magnetic patterns with increased bulk heating temperature. …”

Near-infrared-driven Cr(vi) reduction in aqueous solution based on a MoS2/Sb2S3 photocatalyst
Published 2020“…Additionally, the composite presents remarkable photoelectric conversion efficiency and optimal MoS2/Sb2S3 could remove Cr(VI) with efficiencies of 84%, 99% and 72% when exposed to ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared (NIR) light, which are 16, 50 and 25 times greater than those of Sb2S3, respectively. …”
