Effect of Longitude-Dependent Cloud Coverage on Exoplanet Visible Wavelength Reflected-Light Phase Curves
Published 2017“…We use a planetary albedo model to investigate variations in visible wavelength phase curves of exoplanets. Thermal and cloud properties for these exoplanets are derived using one-dimensional radiative-convective and cloud simulations. …”

When mobile phone use becomes problematic : the influence of self, parents and peers on adolescents' mobile phone behavior in Singapore and Malaysia
Published 2018“…The second and third parts of this dissertation investigate the effects of adolescents’ personalities (such as self-esteem, extraversion, neuroticism, and self-control), parental influence (such as parental mobile phone use, parenting styles, and parental mediation), and peer influence (such as peer mediation, peer norms, and peer capital) on both mobile phone use and problematic mobile phone use among adolescents in Singapore and Malaysia. …”

Curved oligonucleotide constructs as human topoisomerase I inhibitors : a mechanistic study of the enzyme’s recognizing passway.
Published 2010“…In this project, it was not only evidenced that DNA curvature indeed was crucial for the enzyme-substrate recognition, but also the minimum number of A-tracts in the curved constructs was determined. What’s more, inhibitory effects of different types of curvature on Topo I were compared to show that a two-way-curved oligonucleotide was more effective to inhibit Topo I activity than the corresponding one-way-curved oligonucleotide, and this finding might be helpful for better understanding of the enzyme-DNA recognition mechanism.…”
