Micro-RBS study of nickel silicide formation by Lee, Pooi See, Sum, Tze Chien, Seng, H. L., Osipowicz, T., Mangelinck, D., Watt, F.

    Published 2013
“…The patterned samples investigated consist of an array of square pads (View the MathML source) of the structure Ni(Pt)Six/Poly-Si (2000 Å)/SiO2 (2500 Å)/Si and narrow lines of 100 μm length and linewidths of 5 and 2 μm. μ-RBS (∼View the MathML source beam spot) was used to obtain the thickness and stoichiometry of the silicide films for the square pads. …”

Al2O3-Cu hybrid nanofluid flow and heat transfer characteristics in the duct with various triangular rib configurations by Togun, Hussein, Homod, Raad Z., Sultan Aljibori, Hakim S., Abed, Azher M., Alias, Hajar, Hussein, Ahmed Kadhim, Biswal, Uddhaba, Al-Thamir, Mohaimen, Mahdi, Jasim M., Mohammed, Hayder I., Ahmadi, Goodarz

    Published 2024
“…Key findings include: (1) the 60° rib configuration produced the highest local heat transfer coefficient, with the maximum occurring at the rib centers. (2) Increasing nanofluid concentration and Reynolds number enhanced heat transfer but reduced skin friction. (3) The optimal performance was achieved with 2 vol.% Al2O3Cu at Re = 60,000. (4) Velocity contours revealed larger recirculation zones for 60° ribs compared to 45° and 90° configurations. (5) Turbulent kinetic energy was highest for 60° ribs, contributing to enhanced thermal performance. …”

Mechanisms that promote the evolution of cross-reactive antibodies upon vaccination with designed influenza immunogens by Yang, Leerang, Caradonna, Timothy M, Schmidt, Aaron G, Chakraborty, Arup K

    Published 2024
“…Here, we develop a computational model to interrogate antibody evolution by affinity maturation after immunization with two types of immunogens: a heterotrimeric "chimera" hemagglutinin that is enriched for the RBS epitope relative to other B cell epitopes and a cocktail composed of three non-epitope-enriched homotrimers of the monomers that comprise the chimera. …”

Searching for Strong Gravitational Lenses by Lemon, Cameron, Courbin, Frédéric, More, Anupreeta, Schechter, Paul, Cañameras, Raoul, Delchambre, Ludovic, Leung, Calvin, Shu, Yiping, Spiniello, Chiara, Hezaveh, Yashar, Klüter, Jonas, McMahon, Richard

    Published 2024
“…Search techniques are described based on the main lensing feature that is required for the technique to work, namely one of: (i) an associated magnification, (ii) multiple spatially-resolved images, (iii) multiple redshifts, or (iv) a non-zero time delay between images. …”

Ultrasonographic imaging study on abdominal organs of goat by Muhamad, Siti Noraziran

    Published 2016
“…For the reticulum, its wall was examined at the ventral abdomen at the 6th ICS just caudal to the xiphoid and the abomasum wall was examined at the ventral part of the 7th ICS while for the omasum, it was examined at the 8th ICS. …”
