Structure and phase engineering of 2D transition metal chalcogenides
Published 2021“…In the third project, the strategy of phase-selective growth is applied to the study of 2D Cr5Te8. Phase-tunable growth of 2D ferromagnetic Cr5Te8 is achieved via a facile CVD route. …”

Fabrication and application of novel highly ordered nano-heterostructure arrays in optoelectronics
Published 2016“…Photoluminescence measurement of ZnO/Si nano-heterostructure arrays subject to gallium ion irradiation at different ion energies (0.5 keV~16 keV) was performed. The result shows that the intensity of UV emission increases rapidly with the increase of gallium ion energy and reaches the maximum at around 2 keV, approximately 50 times higher than the UV intensity produced from as-grown nanorods. …”

Pulse frequency modulation based tri-mode controller for switched-mode DC-DC converters
Published 2016“…Despite the varying switching-frequency, the proposed controller with the PID compensator has an excellent frequency response of a near-constant phase margin of ~67° and a maximum voltage-overshoot of only 5.6%. Simulation results show that, when the proposed tri-mode controller is employed in a switched-mode DC-DC converter design (Vo = 1.8 V, D = 0.36, and an average output switching frequency of 260 kHz), the switched-mode DC-DC converter maintains high power-efficiencies of ~89% at the CCM-PID, ~81% at the DCM-PID, and ~46% at the DCM, and exhibits a low output ripple-voltage of <2% of Vo throughout the desired load-current range.…”
