Antimicrobial activity, phytochemical and toxicity analyses of salam [Syzygium polyanthum (Wight) Walp.] leaf extract and its application in food
Published 2018“…Therefore, development of natural sanitizer derived from plant sources are gaining more attention nowadays. In this study, the antimicrobial activity of salam [Syzygium polyanthum (Wight) Walp.] leaves extract was evaluated against 17 types of pathogenic microorganisms including Escherichia coli O157:H7, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Listeria monocytogenes, Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella Typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, Vibrio cholerae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus oligosporus, Rhizopus oryzae, Candida albicans, Candida krusei, Candida glabrata and Candida parapsilosis in order to determine the ability of S. polyanthum as natural food sanitizer. …”

Grid integration and coordinated control of voltage source inverters with energy storage systems
Published 2021“…To be specific, by comparing the frequency-power characteristic (FPC) of the VSI and that of the power grid, clear insights are gained into the synchronization dynamics. Moreover, a frequency response identification (FRI) approach is further proposed to acquire the grid FPC without requiring grid information. …”

Published 2017“…DFT calculations performed on La2SrCr2O7 suggest that this highly distorted A2/a (a-a-c-/a-a-c-) structure is stabilized by energy gains from the charge equalization and the improvement of chromium bonding environments associated with the unusual Sr/La distribution exhibited by this phase (the 12-coordinate A-sites are occupied by 82(2)% La3+ and 18(2)% Sr2+).…”

Burden of disease scenarios for 204 countries and territories, 2022-2050: a forecasting analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021
Published 2024“…<h4>Findings</h4>In the reference scenario forecast, global and super-regional life expectancy increased from 2022 to 2050, but improvement was at a slower pace than in the three decades preceding the COVID-19 pandemic (beginning in 2020). Gains in future life expectancy were forecasted to be greatest in super-regions with comparatively low life expectancies (such as sub-Saharan Africa) compared with super-regions with higher life expectancies (such as the high-income super-region), leading to a trend towards convergence in life expectancy across locations between now and 2050. …”
