First-Principles Study on Evolution of Magnetic Domain in Two-Dimensional BaTiO3 Ultrathin Film Doped with Co under Electric Field
Published 2024-03-01“…Further, the magnetoelectric constant was evaluated at ~449.3 mV/cmOe, showing strong magnetoelectric coupling at room temperature. Clearly, our study indicates that strict control of Ba, Ti, O, and Co stoichiometry can induce an electric and magnetic field conversion in two-dimensional BaTiO3 and may provide a new candidate for single-phase multiferroics for application in next-generation multifunctional devices.…”

Tailoring Magnetic Anisotropy in Ultrathin Cobalt by Surface Carbon Chemistry
Published 2024-04-01“…Instead, the evolution of the carbon chemical state from carbidic to graphitic is accompanied by an exponential increase in the characteristic domain size, controlled by the magnetic anisotropy energy. Beyond providing a basic understanding of the carbon‐ferromagnet interfaces, this study presents a sustainable approach to tailor magnetic anisotropy in ultrathin ferromagnetic films.…”

Control and investigation of metal-insulator transitions in novel oxides by light and electric field
Published 2015“…Although, VO2 exhibits a number of polymorphic forms, a major portion of research on this material has been devoted towards VO2(M1) polymorph because of its speedy and abrupt MIT (5−10 K) just above room temperature. VO2(B) polymorph, on the other hand, undergoes a broad MIT as wide as 150 K and remained mostly unexplored due to challenges in thin film fabrication. …”

Study on the preparation and use of edible coating of fish scale chitosan and glycerol blended banana pseudostem starch for the preservation of apples, mangoes, and strawberries
Published 2024-03-01“…The microbial and fungal growth was significantly lower (>37 %) in optimal edible film-coated fruits than in the control fruits. After 28 days of storage of fruits at room temperature, the microbial count (in CFU/mL) on the edible coated surfaces of apples, mangoes, and strawberries was found to be 2.04 ± 0.32x103, 2.71 ± 0.29x103, and 2.5 ± 0.51x104, respectively. …”
