    “…Trust is an increasingly important concept on the Internet, especially for the e-Commerce environment.Creating initial trust from buyer to seller is one of the problem that eCommerce need to address immediately since without this initial trust, buyers will be reluctant to commit any transaction through digital medium offered by eCommerce.This can be achieved by having Third Party Certification (TPC) displayed on their digital storefront as being point out by researches done in US and Europe.This research presents the investigation result of the current implementation of TPC in Malaysian eCommerce websites.Information on how many sample Malaysian eCommerce website have TPC in the digital storefront, what are the TPC being used and what are the service provided by the TPC endorser, in order to understand the current trend of TPC in Malaysia.It also covered on how far the implementation of TPC in Malaysian environment complied with X.509 certification standard.The output of this study can give an important background on the current implementation of TPC and be used as a basis of initial evaluation for business opportunity as a service provider for this kind of certification in Malaysia.…”

    “…Related party transactions (RPTs) are viewed as genuine transactions that rationally fulfil other economic demands of a company.However, RPTs can also be used to transfer wealth from minority shareholders to controlling shareholders.The existence of such transactions may deteriorate financial reporting quality, increase audit risk, and as a result increase audit fees.This study examines the relationship between RPTs and audit fees in Malaysia, where ownership is often concentrated within a controlling family and corporate governance mechanisms are poor.It also investigates the moderating effect of the internal audit function (IAF) on this relationship.We find that external auditors base their fees on the types of RPTs undertaken. …”

    “…Despite the exorbitant costs associated with the sending of expatriates on international assignments, the practice seems to continue in the foreseeable future.Therefore, Multinational Corporations and other expatriate hiring organizations are continuously taking steps to ensure that expatriates are able to fulfill their assigned tasks with minimum distraction and able to contribute significantly to the organizations' causes.In light of this, we examine the sources of support that are influential to facilitate expatriate and their family adjustments and subsequent expatriate performance in the host country.The investigated sources of support include perceived organizational support from the organizations and social support from the host country nationals.Spouse adjustment was also tested with expatriate adjustment to determine the existence of spillover effects from family to work and vice versa.Path analysis was used to test the hypothesized relationships and the fit of the conceptualized model.…”
