Optimization of Three Key Geometries of a Steam Ejector under Varied Primary Nozzle Geometries
Published 2022-12-01“…In this paper, three key geometrical dimensions such as XL3 (constant pressure mixing chamber length), D5 (diameter of the throat of the ejector), and XL5 (length of the throat of the ejector) were separately or sequentially optimized under different lengths and angles of two sections of the primary nozzle. Furthermore, shock cluster number and shock chain length or area of low static pressure zone were used to analyze the effect of geometries on ejector performance, which is normally indicated by entrainment ratio (ER, or the ratio between the mass flow rate of secondary flow and the mass flow rate of primary flow). …”

Pengaruh type pembebanan pada variasi kepadatan dan struktur butiran tanah
Published 1998“…By the support of a serie experimental test in the laboratory such as sieve analysis, Proctor, oedometric, triaxial CU & CD, scanning electron microscopy and injection mercury porosimetry, a study has been performed to obtain correlations between the effect of three different loading types (shock, static and cyclic) to the density variations and the grain structure of soil (e.g. silty sand and kaolinite clay). …”

Analysis crystal characteristics of diamond synthesized by different dynamic loading methods
Published 2020-03-01“…The crystal lattice integrity of the diamonds synthesized by the dynamic loading methods is poor, and the diamonds possess the characteristic of polycrystalline coalescence. Similar to the static diamonds, the diamonds synthesized by the methods of plane shock wave and detonation products are also single cubic crystal, while the diamonds synthesized by the methods of axial symmetry shock wave and direct detonation have different proportions of cubic and hexagonal crystal structures. …”

Biomechanics study on running shoes with different mechanical properties
Published 2021“…High mean loading rates experienced has largely been associated with increased injury risks, thus it is important to be able to accurately test a footwear’s shock absorption properties. However, in the late 1990s, a new form of mechanical testing, the dynamic impact test (ASTM F1976), was introduced because of discrepancies with static shore hardness tests. …”
