Review of the genus Thanatophilus Leach, 1815 (Coleoptera: Silphidae) of Southern of Russia
5 species of the genus Thanatophilus Leach, 1815 are recorded for the south of the European part of Russia. Of them, 2 species are found in the region for the first time. New data for the morphological description of the species, and data on their biology and ecology are provided in the paper
