Bases of interaction between Venetian state and society (the late 12th - beginning of 16th centuries)
The article analyzes the problems of formation of Venetian mentality in the middle Ages. Basic principles of the Venetian’s «mental map» had an influence on the social and political model of the Republic of San Marco.
