An extended distribution of recently described Natesh’s Cape-pondweed (Aponogetonaceae: Aponogeton nateshii) to the state of Karnataka, India

<p><em>Aponogeton nateshii</em>,<em> </em>a recently described endemic species from coastal plains of Konkan region of Maharashtra is recorded from the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Notes on its habitat and variations are provided. </p>
