description This article presents a project that proposes a different way of introducing the theme of migration in 8th grade. Carried out over two consecutive years by two PhD students in geography, the initial objective of the project was to introduce students to the work of a researcher, from the interview to the presentation of the results. Beyond the presentation of the project, the paper offers a reflexive feedback on its evolution from one year to the next by presenting improvements, which result in a cross-fertilisation process between research and teaching.
