Ecthyma gangrenosum: A view of blood on the skin
Abstract Cutaneous findings should be actively sought in suspected cases of sepsis, as some of them (such as ecthyma gangrenosum) may provide clues about the infectious agent involved and the patient's immunosuppression status.
