Summary: | The objective of this article is to, by means of a literature review and analysis of the Operations
handbook PRONERA, reflect on the public politics of Countryside Education denominated
"National Education Program in Agrarian Reform" (PRONERA). The PRONERA is formed through a
partnership between universities, social movements and INCRA, in other words, is a management
model three-part. The PRONERA is the theoretical and practical construction of Education of the
Countryside. A formation of teachers-peasants compromised with the collective causes of our
society, that are militants of the social movements, and the search for another form of territorial
development in the countryside, with equality and sustainability, are among the goals of this
public politics.
