PRAGMATIC AND STRUCTURE-ORGANIZING FUNCTIONS OF PARENTHETICAL ELEMENTS (AS REVEALED IN FRENCH WRITTEN TEXTS)
The paper elaborates the analysis of the pragmatic and structure-organizing functions of parenthetical elements (words/sentences) in the discourse; it also discusses the distribution of parenthetical patterns of the sentence according to the types of speech acts.
