description This article explores the concepts of community driven research and experiential learning in the context of partnerships between universities and indigenous communities. Taking a dialogic approach, a professor, two students and a tribal leader, reflect on their experiences within the partnership and provide insight into how partnerships between universities and indigenous communities might develop, function, and serve both students and community members.
