description | While considering inhibitors, the purpose of this paper is to examine the moderating role of self-efficacy, perceived image, personal innovativeness, and subjective norm on Internet banking adoption in Tejarat bank of Iran as a public bank. Following IRAN’s 20-year outlook plan, putting IT’s inhibitors and facilitators into consideration come to be of high significance; especially in the scope of Internet banking. Based on the valid responses collected from a survey questionnaire out of Tejarat bank’s consumers of central-west district, structural equation modeling (SEM) technology was employed to examine the research model. The result indicated that perceived awareness and system compatibility offered by the bank are the main factors impeding users’ intention towards Internet banking adoption; while resistance to change indicated insignificant effect on users’ intention accompanied by perceived ease of use which showed no significant effect on users’ behavioral intention. At last, self-efficacy, perceived image, subjective norm, and personal innovativeness showed a meaningful significant effect on users’ adoption decision and moderated the relationship between users’ intention and their actual use. |
