Giant excitonic upconverted emission from two-dimensional semiconductor in doubly resonant plasmonic nanocavity
Based on locally enhanced electromagnetic field and accelerated spontaneous emission rate, excitonic upconversion enhancement of more than 1000-fold was achieved in plasmonic nanocavity coupled transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers.
