He is Abu al-Faraj Jamal al-Din Abd al-Rahman bin Ali bin al-Jawziya. Ibn al-Jawzi was born in Baghdad, and the date of his birth is not fixed. There are stories that refer him to the year 510 AH, while others return him to the year 510 AH. Great, they respected him, albeit small, they despise him....
