EFFECT OF PLASMA TREATMENT ON THE SURFACE COMPOSITION OF SAPPHIRE

The plasma treatment of the surface of sapphire was performed. The composition of the sapphire surface before and after plasma treatment by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is discussed.
