description The study poses a quantitative examination on the issue of how primary school children grasp the Newton´s laws of motion. To that end, the knowledge on this topic expressed by 94 children by means of a modified version of the FCI (Force Concept Inventory) test is examined. The results seem to be in line with those undertaken in international arena which point out, on the one hand, that there is no difference between boys and girls concerning the understanding of Newton's laws and, on the other hand, that the Newton´s laws are not similarly understood.
