description he proposed project aims to contribute to the reflection of “what” and “how” to teach social sciences, by the discipline of sociology, to the high school. For accomplishing a research on the subject, is necessary to reaffirm the important role of sociology as an autonomous discipline for the education of adolescents, as social beings subjected to the modern human condition in a situation of great complexity, given the ambiguities of our society permeated by deep political and social inequalities. The challenge is to think what to teach and how to choose the sociology content that can be consolidated on the list of courses at the high school. But at the same time, this subject must be an essential key for the teens instruction, if we think these as tools that enables to a self-understanding of the world, taking into account the dilemmas the individuals and the society must deal with in a era of liquid modernity
