Les études linguistiques d’Edward Lhuyd en Bretagne en 1701

The Welsh antiquarian Edward Lhuyd collected numerous documents concerning Celtic languages, especially Breton. In 1701 he visited Brittany and in 1707 he published the Archoeologia Britannica. This article highlights the printed and oral sources that he used to write the Breton part of his book.
