Periorbital swelling and episcleritis may be a sign of cutaneous lupus erythematosus
Abstract It is important that physicians recognize persistent periorbital edema and conjunctival injection as possible disease manifestations of CLE, especially prior to cutaneous involvement. This may lead to more rapid diagnosis and treatment.
