Description
Summary:In the problem of scheduling of courses, it is generally assumed that the allocation of subjects to teaching periods is an input of the problem, which is defined by the academic authorities. This paper presents a methodology that makes use of linear programs with 0-1 integer variables, to establish the assignment of subjects to teaching periods, which takes into account the degree of difficulty of each subject and academic requirements of these, with the objective of minimizing the differences in degree of difficulty between the various academic periods.
